Lazy Daisy Cottage

Dana Brooks opened the doors to the Lazy Daisy Cottage in 2003. This historical little cottage was built in 1906 and was the perfect place to call home and begin a legacy which would be filled with treasured memories. In the spring of 2004 being honored and featured as a top "10 Quilt Shop" was the beginning to a world of national recognition. Being featured in the 2004 Spring issue of "American Patchwork and Quilting" was exiting and very unexpected. When we entered the contest we had just been opened a couple of months. We were still busy unpicking mistakes and work on making the seams perfect. Lazy Daisy Cottage is more than just a quilt shop. We offer a variety of homespun cottage gifts, tasty treats and mixes, original patterns and kits which include backing and binding. We have a baby room filled with unique packages and gift ideas all tied up with bows whether it's a boy or it's a girl we have just what you need for that special bundle of joy. Our gift baskets are geat for any occasion. Each is customized and reflects a special something for that special someone. Our latest new and exciting arrival was delivered on April 30th, it weighed 70 lbs. and is 30 inches long. It must be a girl because it is pink and it's name is "Gammill." This makes our Lazy Daisy family and quilt shop complete. We are working hard to keep everything new, fresh, and exciting. With a recent expansion our classroom is bigger and our schedule is exciting. We are planning to travel to many Quilt Guild Events as we pack up the shop and fit it in a suitcase (ya, right) we look forward to meeting you on the road. If you are traveling on I-15 in Southern Utah and are looking for one hot spot, or a place to relax and fill your imagination with new ideas we will be waiting to greet you and serve you a tasty treat.
